What is the Vault Transfer?
With this new feature, you can securely transfer graded items vaulted with Cardova Japan, making transactions smoother and easier.
How to Transfer
To transfer graded items, select the items you want to transfer from your My Vault and click "Transfer." After confirming your selection, an authentication key will be generated, which you can then share with the recipient. You can cancel the transfer at any time through the "Vault Transfer" page, as long as the recipient has not accepted the item. You can transfer single or multiple items, all in one simple process.
How to Receive
To receive graded items, enter the authentication key provided by the sender, along with the acquisition amount, on the "Authentication Key Input" page. Since the entire process is handled within the Vault, this eliminates potential shipping issues and ensures a faster transaction.

You can complete transactions directly with trading partners, avoiding forwarding services, extra shipping costs, and ensuring a smooth process. We also offer support in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, German, and French, for seamless international transactions on Japanese platforms.
For each graded item, a fee of 330 yen (tax included) applies. The Vault transfer feature uses a voucher system, meaning a 330 yen voucher is required for each item you want to transfer when issuing an authentication key. The voucher is consumed only after the transfer is successfully completed. If the transfer fails after the authentication key is issued, the voucher will not be used. The recipient of the graded item does not incur any fees.
Since the graded items are transferred within the Vault, the recipient must also be a Cardova JAPAN member. The transferred item will then be received in the recipient's My Vault without any shipping fees. However, if the recipient decides to ship out the item, the standard Vault Picking process applies, meaning that the recipient has to pay shipping and packaging fees. Make sure this information is clearly communicated to the recipient to avoid any misunderstandings.
Cardova Japan's compensation covers only the authenticity of transferred graded items and case damage not visible in images.
Discrepancies in transaction terms or other issues are not covered. Therefore, please verify the item's condition through the images before entering the authentication key

The new transfer feature eliminates these steps, reducing costs, tasks, and shipping risks associated with sending items to your home and then to the recipient. With Cardova Japan's global reach, you can now make Vault transfers with collectors worldwide.

When selling graded items on e-commerce platforms, ensuring the trustworthiness of your trading partner is important. The transfer feature uses the Vault to handle transactions, with Cardova Japan ensuring the process is secure and reliable. This feature helps prevent fraud and creates a safer, more active trading environment.

Use our download feature to access high-quality images taken by our professional staff for your product listings. These images will clearly display "Cardova Japan Vault," confirming that the item is safely stored in our vault.

Clearly indicate Vault transfer
When listing your item, specify in the description that you prefer to transfer the item within the Cardova Japan Vault, such as by stating "Prefer transfer via Cardova Japan Vault." The Vault transfer feature functions similarly to a direct transaction or handover of your item

Issue and share the Authentication Key
